FGP-1000 is an 8-port 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet switch with Power over Ethernet (PoE) capability. When a port’s DIP switch is set to ON, that LAN port can supply up to 30 W to connected PoE devices. The switch also includes two dual 10/100 Mbps ports that can be used as uplinks to connect to other edge switches or an NVR. Using a compatible PoE repeater, the PoE connection can be extended by an additional 100 meters or daisy-chained with multiple repeaters for longer distances.

How to use

Connect network devices to the eight PoE-capable LAN ports and use the corresponding DIP switch to enable (ON) or disable (OFF) PoE per port. Use the two uplink ports to connect the switch to a network backbone, another edge switch, or an NVR. To extend the powered connection beyond 100 meters, connect a compatible LevelOne PoE repeater between the switch and the powered device or chain multiple repeaters as needed. Basic operation requires no additional configuration.
