Laptop lower cover Lenovo Ares2 5CB0Z69168 Black replacement part

Replacement lower cover for Lenovo Ares2 laptop in black. This bottom chassis panel is designed to restore the laptop’s structural integrity after damage or wear, protect internal components from dust and debris, and maintain correct alignment for mounting internal modules. The part is intended as a direct replacement to preserve the original fit, ventilation openings, and access to service points.

Advantages

The replacement lower cover provides a precise fit that restores the original chassis geometry and ensures secure attachment of the motherboard, battery and other internal modules. It preserves ventilation paths and mounting points to maintain cooling performance and proper airflow. As a single component replacement, it reduces repair time and cost compared with replacing the entire chassis while protecting internal components from dust and mechanical impact.

Suitable for

• Repairing a Lenovo Ares2 laptop with a cracked or deformed bottom panel
• Replacing a worn or scratched lower cover to restore structural support
• DIY laptop maintenance and component upgrades that require removal and reinstallation of the bottom panel
• Service centre replacements where original fit and ventilation layout must be preserved

Key specifications

• Compatibility: Designed for Lenovo Ares2 series laptop lower chassis
• Color: Black
• Material: Durable plastic chassis material for impact resistance and rigidity

How to use

Power down the laptop, disconnect all cables and remove the battery if it is user-removable. Place the laptop on a soft, static-free surface and remove the existing bottom cover by unscrewing the accessible fasteners and carefully releasing any retaining clips. Transfer any needed components such as rubber feet or internal shields from the damaged cover to the replacement if required. Position the replacement lower cover, align the mounting holes and clips, then fasten the screws to factory torque settings. Reinstall the battery and power on the device to verify proper operation and ventilation.

Recommendations

Use compatible screwdrivers and a magnetic parts tray to avoid losing fasteners; inspect the internal components for damage before reassembly and ensure vents are free of dust to maintain optimal cooling after replacement.
