How to use

Connect the Legion 5 to power using the supplied AC adapter for maximum performance or use USB-C Power Delivery when supported within the specified charging power range. Configure Windows or your preferred operating system after installation since this model ships without an OS. Use the Lenovo Vantage or system firmware to update drivers and BIOS, and enable Wi‑Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 in network settings. Attach external displays via HDMI 2.1 or USB-C DisplayPort alternate mode, and connect wired networks through the RJ-45 port for stable high-speed Ethernet. Adjust display colour profiles and refresh rate in graphics driver settings when working on color-critical tasks.

Recommendations

For sustained high-performance gaming or content rendering, keep the laptop on AC power and ensure vents are unobstructed to maintain cooling. Use updated GPU drivers and power profiles to balance performance and battery life, and consider external storage or cloud backup to augment the built-in 512 GB SSD.
