When a target enters the surveillance range of the fixed lens, the PT lens will immediately focus on and keep tracking it. Even if the target moves beyond the surveillance boundary of the fixed lens, the PT lens can compensate for the blind spots in the field of view, providing you with dual assurance.

How to use

Install the camera on a suitable exterior wall or ceiling using the included mounting hardware and ensure the camera is fixed securely at a height and angle that covers the target zone. Connect to local power and either a wired Ethernet network or insert a compatible 4G SIM card if operating without Wi‑Fi; follow the IMOU Life app prompts to register the device and complete network configuration. Use the app to set detection zones, enable AI human/vehicle detection, select night vision mode, and configure recording mode (continuous or AOR) and notification preferences.

Recommendations

Position the fixed lens to cover a wide overview area and configure the PT lens to patrol or respond via tap-to-track for focused inspection. For reliable 4G operation, check local carrier compatibility and signal strength at the installation site. Use AOR recording mode to conserve storage while keeping full-frame captures for events, and periodically verify firmware updates and scheduled protection times in the app.
