How to use

Place the camera on a stable desk or surface and connect it to power. For wired operation, connect to local Ethernet; for Wi‑Fi, follow the IMOU Life app pairing process and select the preferred frequency band (2.4 GHz for better range or 5 GHz for higher throughput). Use the app to configure dual-lens orientation, switch night vision modes for each lens, set digital zoom during live view, and enable two-way audio or on-touch calling. Configure detection zones and alarm sounds in the app, and set a protection schedule to define active monitoring periods.

Recommendations

Position the camera so the primary area of interest is centered within the pan-tilt lens coverage while the fixed lens points to the secondary zone; avoid placing it directly facing bright windows or strong backlight to maintain image clarity. Use the app to fine-tune detection zones and sensitivity to reduce false alarms, and enable scheduled privacy shield when camera use is not required.
