Before you believe a bad review about us

We would like to respond openly to every negative review about us. Many are posted anonymously, so we cannot reach those customers directly. This open letter is our reply, and we would be grateful if you took a moment to read it.

But here is what a one-star review will never tell you:

  • We import from 70+ official distributors. That is why you pay far less than local retail — and why delivery takes longer. We publish the date before you pay, never after.
  • You can pay only when your goods land in Johannesburg. Pay on Arrival, no full payment up front. Ask yourself what scammer offers that.
  • Nobody has ever lost money with us. You get the product, or you get a refund. There is no third option, and there never has been.
  • We are part of the ITwork group — ten years trading in Europe, nine stores, thousands of positive reviews.
  • Johannesburg and Cape Town stores open this year — real shelves, real stock, walk in and buy the same day.

We are not satisfied with our review scores, and we are not going to fix them by hiding anything. We are fixing them by being faster, clearer and easier to reach than any reason to complain.

Read the full letter — photos and video of real shipments, and a straight answer to every accusation.

Problem with an order right now? Write to [email protected], [email protected] or [email protected] — answered the same business day. The letter also lists our group and store owners' contacts.

The Hikvision Pro Series DS-2CD2T47G2H-LI (2.8mm) is a 4 MP Smart Hybrid Light fixed bullet network camera that delivers 2688 x 1520 resolution for outdoor surveillance. Designed for varied lighting conditions, the camera integrates ColorVu technology to provide high-quality color images at night and a CMOS sensor that supports a wide horizontal view of 104° and vertical view of 54.4°. With a bullet form factor, wall mounting and 360° rotation capability, it is suitable for comprehensive monitoring tasks and supports wired Ethernet connectivity for reliable data transmission.

Advantages

The camera produces clear video across a range of lighting conditions while reducing storage and bandwidth demands through efficient encoding. It offers long detection and observation distances — detection up to 61 m, observation up to 24 m, and recognition up to 12 m — and includes built-in video motion detection for event-triggered recording. Its outdoor-rated build, black finish and wall-mount design provide flexible installation options for perimeter and site surveillance.

Suitable for

  • Perimeter and property protection for residential and commercial sites
  • Parking lots and access control points
  • Outdoor coverage of entrances, walkways and building façades
  • General outdoor monitoring where continuous color imaging is required

Key specifications

  • Model: Hikvision DS-2CD2T47G2H-LI (2.8mm)
  • Image sensor: CMOS
  • Resolution: 2688 x 1520 (4 MP)
  • Frame rate: 30 fps
  • Lens: 2.8 mm (fixed)
  • Field of view: Horizontal 104°, Vertical 54.4°
  • Detection / Observation / Recognition distances: 61 m / 24 m / 12 m
  • Connectivity: Wired Ethernet (LAN)
  • Wi‑Fi: No
  • Motion detection: Yes
  • Mounting: Wall
  • Placement: Outdoor
  • Color: Black
  • Weight: 1.085 kg

How to use

Mount the camera on a suitable outdoor wall using the provided bracket and ensure the lens points to the intended coverage area. Connect the camera to a wired Ethernet network for power and data (PoE recommended if supported by your system) and configure resolution, frame rate and motion detection settings through the Hikvision web interface or compatible NVR/VMS. Position the camera to achieve the required detection and recognition ranges and verify night-time color imaging with ColorVu settings enabled.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, install the camera at a height and angle that aligns with the stated detection and recognition distances, use surge protection for outdoor network cabling, and integrate the device with an NVR or VMS to manage recording, alerts and retention policies.
