The Dahua Technology IPC-HDW3549H-ZAS-PV-27135 is a turret IP security camera for indoor and outdoor surveillance. It features a 1/2.7" 5 MP CMOS sensor with a maximum output resolution of 2960 × 1668 at 20 fps, a 2.7–13.5 mm motorized lens providing a horizontal field of view from 113° to 36° and vertical from 57° to 20°, and a robust IP67-rated housing. The camera supports rotation mode, long-range night vision with IR illumination up to 50 m and warm light up to 40 m, and wired Ethernet connectivity for reliable networked monitoring.

How to use

Install the turret camera on a ceiling or wall using the included mounting hardware and connect it to your network via Ethernet or PoE, or supply 12 VDC power if PoE is not available. Configure the camera through Dahua's management software or a supported NVR: set resolution and frame rate, enable WizSense human/vehicle detection and SMD areas, configure the AI SSA and one-tap arming/disarming if required, and set up alarm inputs/outputs and two-way audio. Format and insert a microSD card (up to 512 GB) if local recording is needed.

Recommendations

Position the camera to cover primary access routes and avoid aiming directly at strong light sources. For reliable AI detection, define SMD areas in regions with stable lighting and adjust IR/warm light settings to ensure adequate illumination at night.
