IP camera Hikvision DS-2CD1147G2H-LIU 4mm PL — 4 MP network surveillance camera, fixed 4 mm lens

Hikvision DS-2CD1147G2H-LIU 4mm PL is a 4 MP IP network surveillance camera with a fixed 4 mm lens, intended for continuous video monitoring in indoor and sheltered outdoor environments. The camera captures high-resolution images suitable for general security, premises monitoring and retail surveillance. Network connectivity allows remote viewing and recording, while the fixed wide-angle lens provides consistent framing for entrances, corridors and sales areas.

Advantages

The camera delivers 4 MP resolution for clear, detailed footage and supports efficient network integration for flexible deployment. Its fixed 4 mm lens offers a wide field of view ideal for medium-range coverage, while a compact housing simplifies installation in ceilings or under eaves. Built-in image processing improves clarity in typical lighting conditions, and compatibility with common network video recorders enables centralized storage and playback.

Suitable for

• Monitoring retail floors and point-of-sale areas
• Surveillance of office interiors and corridors
• Entrances, lobbies and reception zones
• Small warehouses and storage rooms with sheltered mounting

Key specifications

• Image sensor and resolution: 4 megapixels
• Lens: fixed 4 mm focal length for a wide field of view
• Video output: IP network streaming compatible with ONVIF
• Suitable mounting: indoor and sheltered outdoor installations
• Image features: onboard image processing for improved detail and low-light performance

How to use

Install the camera on a stable surface such as a ceiling, wall or under an overhang, positioning the 4 mm lens to cover the intended area. Connect the camera to the local network via Ethernet; if available, use Power over Ethernet to supply power and data through a single cable. Configure the device using the supplied network management software or compatible VMS, set resolution and frame rate to match recording and bandwidth requirements, and integrate the camera with your network video recorder or cloud service for continuous recording and remote access.

Recommendations

For best results, mount the camera at a height and angle that avoids direct exposure to strong light sources and ensures unobstructed views of entry points or transaction areas. Use PoE when possible to simplify cabling and verify network bandwidth and storage capacity to match the 4 MP video stream.
