Hikvision Pro Series ColorVu 4 MP motorized varifocal bullet camera delivers full-color imaging and detailed 4 MP resolution for both indoor and outdoor surveillance. Equipped with a 1/1.8" CMOS sensor and a 2.8–12 mm motorized lens, the camera provides a flexible horizontal viewing angle from 41.8° to 114.6° and vertical from 23.6° to 59.3°. How to use

Mount the bullet camera on a wall or pole using compatible mounts, orient the housing and use the motorized varifocal lens to set the desired field of view remotely or on-site. Connect the camera to a PoE-capable switch or network video recorder via Ethernet to provide power and data. Configure imaging parameters such as exposure, WDR and ColorVu lighting modes in the recorder or camera web interface. Enable person/vehicle classification and set alarm triggers for strobe and audio deterrence according to the monitored area and recording policy.

Recommendations

For reliable color imaging at night, position the camera to avoid direct glare from on-site lighting and adjust hybrid light modes based on scene brightness.
