The Intellinet Gigabit High-Power 30W PoE+ Injector supplies up to 30 watts of power over existing Cat5/Cat5e/Cat6 cabling while carrying Gigabit Ethernet data, enabling IEEE 802.3af/at devices to be powered from a non-PoE switch port. Housed in a durable metal case, the injector supports 10/100/1000 Mbit/s data rates and includes LED indicators for power and PoE status. It accepts 100–240 V input and is certified to FCC, CE, RoHS, UKCA and NDAA standards.

How to use

Connect the injector's LAN input port to a non-PoE switch or router using a Cat5/5e/6 cable. Plug the powered output port into the IEEE 802.3af/at device (for example an access point, IP camera or IP phone) with another Cat5/5e/6 cable. Apply mains power to the injector (100–240 V). Verify operation using the power and PoE LEDs; the connected device should power on and establish a network connection via the Gigabit data link.

Recommendations

Use Cat5e or Cat6 cabling for best Gigabit performance and to minimize power loss. Ensure connected devices are IEEE 802.3af/at-compliant and require no more than 30 W. Install the injector in a ventilated area and avoid exposing it to excessive moisture or heat. For multiple devices, use a PoE switch or multiple injectors sized to the cumulative power requirements.
