HDMI 1.4:
This InLine HDMI cable with specification 1.4 supports 3D content and also has an Ethernet channel and an audio return channel. The audio return channel (ARC) transmits audio signals from the TV to the AV receiver, for example. This allows a speaker system to be integrated into the multimedia setup without additional cables. The Ethernet channel enables network connections between HDMI devices. Significantly higher resolutions than Full HD up to 4kx2k (@30Hz) are supported up to a distance of 5m. (only applies to the flat cable version).

If your 4k HDMI devices or their connections only support a bandwidth of 4k@30Hz, the InLine HDMI cable is suitable for connecting these components. Especially for 4k applications with a low refresh rate such as normal film playback, image editing, presentations and general work on the computer, this bandwidth is sufficient.

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A plug to the HDMI output of your source device (Blu-ray player, streaming box, PC or console) and the other plug to the HDMI input of your display, projector or AV receiver. If using ARC, connect the cable between the TV’s HDMI ARC port and the AV receiver’s HDMI ARC-capable input and enable ARC in device settings. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and aligned before powering devices. Use the 0.5 m length for short, tidy connections; avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors.

Recommendations

Use this flat HDMI cable for short-distance or space-constrained installations. For reliable 4K@60Hz transmission, select a cable and devices rated for HDMI versions newer than 1.4.
