The InLine® Dual 10 Gigabit network card with two SFP+ ports offers the highest performance for fiber-based network connections. Equipped with the Intel JL82599EN chipset, it enables reliable data transmission at up to 10 Gb/s per port - ideal for servers, data centers and virtualized infrastructures.
The card supports common standards such as 10GBASE-SR, -LR, -ER and many more. (IEEE 802.3ae) and offers functions such as VLAN tagging, full duplex flow control, receive side scaling (RSS), jumbo frames up to 16KB and support for virtual machines (VM queues). Interrupt throttling also improves CPU utilization.
Thanks to the PCIe x8 interface (Rev. 2.0), the card can be flexibly integrated. It is supplied with a low-profile slot bracket – also ideal for compact systems.

How to use

Install the card into an available PCIe x8 (or larger) slot on a powered-down system and secure it to the chassis. Insert compatible SFP+ transceivers into the SFP+ ports and connect fibre-optic cables or other supported modules. Boot the system and install the appropriate drivers for your operating system; verify link status and configure network settings (IP, VLANs, MTU) in the OS network manager or server management tools. For virtualised hosts, enable device queues and RSS where supported by the hypervisor and drivers.

Recommendations

Use certified SFP/SFP+ transceivers that match the intended 10GBase standard (SR, LR, ER, etc.) and ensure firmware/drivers are up to date. Configure MTU and jumbo frames consistently across the network to achieve optimal throughput, and enable RSS and offloading features for CPU load reduction on high-traffic servers.
