The InLine® USB 3.2 Gen.1 Industrial Hub is specially designed for professional use in demanding conditions. With seven powerful USB-A 3.2 Gen.1 ports and a maximum transfer rate of 5 Gb/s, it is a reliable connection solution for industrial IT and control systems. The high-quality aluminium housing protects against mechanical stress and enables safe operation even in extreme ambient temperatures from -40 °C to +85 °C. Thanks to flexible mounting options – DIN rail or wall mount – the hub can be easily integrated into existing infrastructures.
Integrated protection against short circuits, overvoltage and electrostatic discharge ensures additional safety during operation. Power is supplied either via a supplied external power supply unit or alternatively via a 2-pin terminal connection. This makes the hub particularly flexible in use – from control cabinets and machine controls to technical rooms in IT infrastructure.

How to use

Mount the hub on a DIN rail or attach it to a wall using the supplied mounting kit. Connect the hub to the host computer using the supplied USB-A to USB-B cable. Supply power either with the included external 12 V / 4 A adapter or via the 2‑pin terminal connection according to your installation requirements. Plug USB peripherals into the seven USB-A ports; the device supports plug & play on Windows, MacOS and Linux. Monitor operation via the LED indicator and ensure the ambient conditions remain within the specified temperature and humidity ranges.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term operation, use the supplied external power supply and ensure correct polarity when using the terminal block. Avoid exposure to condensing humidity and keep ventilation around the aluminium housing free to maintain operating temperature limits.
