The InLine® SFP Module 32335Y is a cost-effective solution for multimode fibre optic connections over short distances. With a range of up to 2 km and a data rate of 100 Mb/s, the module is ideal for classic 100BASE-FX applications in enterprise networks, industrial environments or data centres.
The integrated FP laser technology at 1310 nm and the PIN receiver with TIA amplifier guarantee reliable data transmission. Thanks to MSA SFF-8472 compliance, the module can be easily integrated into all common SFP slots.
With an LC duplex connection and hot-plug capability, the module is particularly user-friendly and flexible in use. The temperature range of 0 °C to +70 °C enables reliable use in professional IT environments.

How to use

Insert the SFP module into an available SFP slot on your switch, router or media converter until it seats securely. Attach the appropriate multimode fiber patch cable with compatible connectors to the transceiver port. Verify link activity and speed through the device management interface or status LEDs. If necessary, configure the connected network ports for the desired duplex and speed settings; most devices negotiate 100 Mb/s automatically when supported. To remove the module, follow the equipment manufacturer’s hot-swap procedure to avoid signal interruption or hardware damage.

Recommendations
