The card uses a PCIe x8 interface in accordance with PCI Express Revision 2.0 and supports a variety of modern functions such as IEEE 802.1Q VLAN tagging, full-duplex flow control, receive side scaling (RSS) as well as checksum swapping and device queuing for virtual machines. Jumbo frames up to 16KB are also supported.
Compatibility with common protocols such as IPv4 and IPv6 as well as support for current operating systems makes the card extremely versatile. It is suitable for fiber optic connections with 10GBASE-SR, -LR, -ER and much more.

How to use

Install the card into an available PCIe x8 (or larger) slot on the motherboard and secure it with the bracket. Insert a compatible SFP+ fibre transceiver into the SFP+ port, then connect the fibre optic cable. Boot the system and install the appropriate drivers for your operating system if they are not detected automatically. Configure network settings in the OS or network management software to enable 10 Gigabit operation.
