How to use

Select a length of CellPack 144410 heat shrink tubing that covers the area to be insulated with a small overlap on each side. Slide the tubing over the wire, splice or connector before joining if possible. Apply even heat using a heat gun, hot air tool or controlled flame while rotating the assembly to ensure uniform shrinkage. Heat until the tubing conforms closely to the component and no gaps remain; avoid overheating to maintain material properties.

Recommendations

For reliable results, use a regulated heat gun and work in a ventilated area. When insulating soldered joints, ensure the joint is mechanically secure before shrinking the tubing. If a sealed, adhesive-lined termination is required, choose an adhesive-lined variant; the CellPack 144410 is non-adhesive.
