CipherLab RK26 mobile computer, 2D imager SE5500, 4" (10.5 cm), 4 GB RAM, 64 GB, 4G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, Android

The CIPHERLAB RK26 handheld barcode scanner AK26EA4DFNG41 is a wireless data capture device that reads both 1D and 2D barcode formats. Intended for mobile scanning tasks, it offers cordless operation suitable for retail, warehousing, inventory control and logistics. The scanner supports fast capture of linear and matrix codes to streamline checkout, stock-taking and goods movement, and integrates with host systems via its wireless connection.

Advantages

The RK26 provides cordless operation that increases mobility and reduces cable constraints in scanning workflows. Support for both 1D and 2D barcodes means the device can read legacy linear codes and modern matrix codes from printed labels or screens. Its handheld form factor and straightforward scanning function are designed to simplify routine scanning tasks and help maintain operational throughput in retail and warehouse environments.

Suitable for

• Retail point-of-sale barcode scanning and price verification
• Inventory counts and stock management
• Order picking and packing in warehouses
• Package and shipment verification in logistics

Key specifications

• Scan type: supports 1D (linear) and 2D (matrix) barcode formats
• Operation mode: handheld, cordless (wireless) operation
• Primary use cases: mobile data capture for retail, warehousing and logistics
• Form factor: pistol-style handheld scanner for one-handed use

How to use

Power on the scanned device and ensure it is paired with the host system according to the system or network setup you are using. Hold the scanner in one hand and align the aiming pattern or scan window with the barcode. Press the scan trigger to emit the scanning beam and wait for the confirmation tone or indicator that the barcode has been read. For barcodes displayed on screens, position the scanner to capture the entire code; for printed labels, ensure the code is unobstructed and within the scanner’s field of view. Transfer scanned data to your connected application or terminal via the device’s wireless link and confirm successful upload in your host software.

Recommendations

Use the scanner within the manufacturer’s recommended wireless range and maintain a clear line of sight to barcodes for consistent read rates. Clean the scan window periodically to remove dust or smudges and avoid scanning reflective or severely damaged labels. For high-volume operations, ensure batteries or the device’s power source are charged and consider scheduling regular maintenance checks to sustain reliable performance.
