Hama Safe X120 paper shredder Cross shredding 68 dB 22 cm Black

The Hama Safe X120 is a cross-cut paper shredder with a 22 cm working width that shreds documents into 4 x 40 mm particles. It accepts up to 12 sheets of DIN A4 (80 g/m²) at once and can also destroy plastic cards through the paper entry. The compact unit includes a 21-litre collection basket with viewing window and is designed for office use where GDPR-compliant destruction of personal data is required.

Advantages

The device offers automatic start/stop and a manual reverse function to clear jams. Hardened steel cutting rollers handle staples and paper clips, while overheating protection shuts the unit off automatically to prevent damage. A safety mechanism prevents operation if the head is not correctly inserted in the basket. LEDs indicate power and overheat status.

Suitable for

• Shredding confidential paper documents (up to 12 sheets)
• Destroying credit and plastic cards via the paper entry
• Small office or home office use requiring GDPR-compliant disposal
• Situations where a compact, low-volume waste basket (21 L) is sufficient
