How to use

Connect the Navilock NL-852ETTL to a USB port or to a serial interface using the WTB TTL connector at 3.3 V logic levels. Ensure a stable 5 V power supply to the module and confirm the host serial settings (auto baud is supported up to 115200 bps). Use standard NMEA sentences (GGA, GSA, GSV, RMC, VTG) to receive position, satellite and navigation data. Allow time for satellite acquisition—full cold start may require around 26 seconds, while hot starts are typically near 1 second.

Recommendations

For best reception, place the module where the patch antenna has a clear view of the sky and avoid metal enclosures or dense obstructions. Enable SBAS where available to improve horizontal accuracy, and select multi-GNSS mode to increase fix reliability in challenging environments.
