Specify up to 12 devices or device groups, which you can switch on/off and control as desired using the three views on the four buttons. For example, you can switch on/off devices connected to the FRITZ! sockets, or change the room temperature with the FRITZ! radiator controls at the push of a button. Compatible Zigbee devices can be easily controlled as well.

With FRITZ!Smart Control 440, additional practical smart home applications can be realized. This way you can quickly activate templates or scenes, switch the answering machine on or off, and display the QR code for the Wi-Fi guest access for your guests.

If desired, FRITZ!Smart Control 440 can be combined with FRITZ! radiator controls to always ensure the ideal room temperature – the integrated temperature sensor makes it possible. The automatic heating programme of the FRITZ! radiator controls orients itself on the temperature measured at precisely this position.

How to use

Mount the FRITZ! Smart Control 440 at a convenient central location on a wall or keep it portable within a room. Pair the unit to your FRITZ! Smart Home system over Wi‑Fi and assign devices or device groups to each of the four buttons and three views via the FRITZ! user interface. Use the buttons to switch devices on or off, activate scenes and templates, show the Wi‑Fi guest QR code or to change radiator control settings. When combined with FRITZ! radiator controls, the integrated temperature sensor provides the local measurement used by the automatic heating programme.

Install the controller where the measured temperature represents the room area you want regulated; avoid direct sunlight or drafts. Keep the device within reliable Wi‑Fi coverage for stable operation and regular automatic updates.
