EK-Quantum Torque STC 10/13 fittings are minimalistic compression fittings for 10/13 mm (ID/OD) soft tubing, made from CNC-machined brass with a satin titanium finish. They are intended for use with flexible tubes such as PVC, EPDM, Norprene, silicone or other compatible soft tubing and are designed to provide a secure, leak-resistant connection in liquid cooling loops. The fitting barb and compression ring include an external groove pattern for easier hand tightening, and the compression ring features cutouts in EK-Quantum’s signature shape to reveal optional colored aesthetic rings (sold separately). The internal seal is provided by rubber O-rings and the fittings are compatible with EK Water Blocks products.

How to use

Slide the soft tubing over the fitting barb until it seats against the fitting body, then install the compression ring and tighten by hand using the external grooves for grip. If needed, screw on the optional colored aesthetic ring before installing the compression locking ring. For improved installation leverage and to protect fingertips, the fitting barb is socketed for an 8 mm Allen key — use an 8 mm Allen key (sold separately) if required, taking care not to apply excessive force to avoid damage to the fitting or adjacent components.

Recommendations

Do not overtighten with tools; use hand tightening where possible. Use compatible soft tubing (10/13 mm) and ensure O-rings are seated correctly. Aesthetic rings are sold separately. Avoid painting the interior or using coatings that could contaminate the coolant.
