EK-Quantum Torque 6-Pack STC 10/16 contains six EK-Torque STC compression fittings engineered for 10/16 mm (ID/OD) soft tubing. Manufactured from CNC-machined brass with a high-quality nickel finish, each fitting uses rubber O-rings for sealing and is intended for reliable connections in custom PC water-cooling loops. The fittings accept common flexible tubing materials such as PVC, EPDM, Norprene and silicone, and are compatible with other EK Water Blocks liquid-cooling components.

The Torque compression design secures the tubing by compressing the tube wall under the locking ring, preventing the tube from being pulled off the barb. Grooved outer surfaces allow easier hand tightening, while cutouts in the compression ring expose an interchangeable aesthetic color ring (sold separately). How to use

Slide the compression ring and any optional aesthetic color ring onto the tubing, push the tubing fully onto the fitting barb, then screw the compression ring down to compress the tube wall under the ring. Hand-tighten using the grooved outer surface; if required, use an 8 mm Allen key in the internal hex of the barb but avoid excessive torque to prevent damage to surrounding components. Install fittings into the loop following standard G1/4" threading procedures and check seals with a leak test before powering the system.

Recommendations

Use compatible tubing (10/16 mm) and avoid over-tightening with tools. For controlled tightening, use the EK-Loop Multi Allen Key (6/8/9 mm) which is designed to fail before more expensive loop components if excessive force is applied. Perform a leak test after assembly and prior to powering the PC.
