In a basement sump or rainwater collection tank, the Finder 72.A1.1.000.0501 float switch automatically controls a pump based on liquid level. The suspended switch with a 5 m PVC cable tilts as the water rises or falls, opening or closing a 10 A changeover contact to start or stop the pump.
