AnyCubic PETG White filament on a 1 kg spool is a 1.75 mm filament that combines the printing ease of PLA with mechanical strength close to ABS. It offers good layer adhesion, low warping and enhanced impact resistance, making it suitable for durable parts, functional prototypes and outdoor applications where chemical and moisture resistance are required.

Advantages

PETG provides a balance of toughness and printability: parts resist impacts and retain gloss and dimensional stability when exposed to moisture, weather and many common chemicals. The spool includes a reusable threaded connection to reduce tangles and a temperature-resistant design up to 80°C. An identification chip enables automatic recognition of settings with compatible AnyCubic systems.

Suitable for

  • Functional prototypes and mechanical parts
  • Enclosures, brackets and structural components
  • Toys and everyday objects that require impact resistance
  • Outdoor items exposed to moisture and mild chemicals

When it may not be suitable

Although PETG is tougher than PLA, it is not as heat-resistant as high-performance engineering plastics and may soften above its heat deflection temperature. Very fine-detail prints or extremely high-temperature applications may be better served by other materials.

Key specifications

  • Diameter: 1.75 mm
  • Spool weight: 1 kg
  • Recommended nozzle diameter: 0.2 mm or larger
  • Nozzle temperature: 230–250°C
  • Build plate temperature: 60–70°C
  • Recommended print speed: 50–250 mm/s
  • Density: 1.23 g/cm³
  • Melt temperature (approx.): 130°C
  • Heat deflection temperature: 72°C
  • Impact resistance (X–Y): 45±2 kJ/m²
  • Tensile strength (X–Y): 52±1 MPa; (Z-axis): 31±3 MPa
  • Elongation at break: 13±1%
  • Material stiffness: 1850±100 MPa

How to use

Dry the filament before printing (recommended 55–65°C for 8–10 hours) and store it in a low-humidity environment to prevent moisture uptake and bubbles. Load the 1.75 mm filament into printers that accept this diameter, set nozzle and bed temperatures within the recommended ranges, and use a compatible nozzle diameter. Fine-tune print speed and retraction settings for your specific printer and model to optimise surface finish and dimensional accuracy.

What to consider before purchase

  • Ensure your printer accepts 1.75 mm filament and can reach the recommended nozzle temperatures (230–250°C).
  • Plan for filament drying and dry storage to maintain print quality.
  • Check compatibility with any AnyCubic accessory systems if automatic setting recognition is required.

Recommendations

Use a heated bed and moderate print speeds to reduce warping, enable good part adhesion, and consider a brim for small bases. For outdoor or load-bearing parts, post-process with annealing or appropriate mechanical finishing if higher dimensional stability or surface hardness is needed.
