The InLine® fiber optic duplex coupler with LC/LC connectors in single-mode design is the ideal solution for reliable fiber optic connections in professional networks. It enables a precise and stable connection of two LC cables with minimal attenuation - ideal for structured cabling in data centers, industrial applications or telecommunications environments.The coupler is suitable for simplex SC cut-outs and can therefore be flexibly integrated into existing patch panels. A key safety feature is the permanently installed laser protection shutter, which prevents light from escaping when the port is unused. The high-quality ceramic sleeve enables optimum alignment of the fibers and ensures low-loss signal transmission. How to use

Align the LC plug with the adapter opening and insert until it clicks, ensuring the ferrule seats in the ceramic sleeve. For duplex connections, align both LC connectors with the adapter’s duplex openings. When removing plugs, press the latch and pull straight out to avoid damaging the ferrule or sleeve. Keep dust caps or the external shutter closed when the adapter is not in use to protect the internal sleeve.

Recommendations

Inspect fibre endfaces with a microscope before connection, clean with appropriate fibre-cleaning tools if contamination is found, and store the adapter in its polybag when not installed to maintain cleanliness and performance.
