EK-Quantum Torque Extender Static MM 28 is a male-to-male brass extender designed for PC water cooling systems. With a height of 28 mm and a diameter of 23 mm, it connects two components that both have female G1/4 threads and provides a solid, sealed connection for loop assembly. The extender is CNC-machined, finished in satin silver and sealed with EPDM O-rings. The internal surface is left unpainted to minimise potential contaminants in the cooling loop. This model is non-revolvable and requires either hand tightening or the EK-Loop multi Allen key / 9 mm Allen key (sold separately).

How to use

Verify that both components you intend to connect have female G1/4 threads. Clean thread interfaces and O-rings before assembly. Insert the extender between the two female fittings and hand-tighten until snug. If additional torque is required, use the EK-Loop multi Allen key or a 9 mm Allen key to tighten further — avoid excessive force to prevent damaging threads or O-rings. Do not attempt to rotate the extender during tightening since it is not revolvable.

Recommendations

For best results, inspect EPDM O-rings regularly and replace them if they show signs of wear. Use compatible coolant and follow standard loop-assembly practices: avoid over-tightening, ensure proper alignment, and pressure-test the loop after installation.
