Espresso Moka Pot ALESSI DC06/3 silver — stovetop 3-cup capacity

The ALESSI DC06/3 silver stovetop moka pot brews concentrated espresso-style coffee using a traditional manual method. Designed for a compact 3-cup capacity, this moka pot is constructed for stovetop use and produces small portions of strong coffee suitable for serving directly or combining with milk for cappuccinos and lattes. Its simple design and compact size make it practical for home kitchens, small offices, and travel where a reliable, easy-to-clean brewing device is needed.

Advantages

The moka pot delivers rich, concentrated coffee without electricity and requires only ground coffee, water, and heat from a compatible stovetop. Its compact 3-cup capacity saves counter and storage space while providing consistent extraction for small servings. The metal construction offers durability and straightforward maintenance; most components can be rinsed and wiped clean after use. The manual brewing process gives users control over brew strength through grind size and heat management.

Suitable for

• Brewing concentrated coffee for one to three servings
• Preparing espresso-style base for milk drinks (cappuccino, latte)
• Use in small kitchens, office pantry, or during travel where a stovetop is available
• Users preferring a manual, energy-efficient brewing method

Key specifications

• Capacity: three small espresso-style cups (compact 3-cup volume)
• Material: metal construction with a silver finish
• Heat source: compatible with standard stovetops (check stovetop compatibility before use)
• Operation: manual pressure-brewing via stovetop heat and internal steam
• Maintenance: easy to rinse and wipe; disassemble for cleaning

How to use

Fill the lower chamber with fresh, cold water up to the safety valve level, add medium-fine ground coffee to the filter funnel without tamping, and assemble the unit tightly. Place the moka pot on a compatible stovetop over medium heat. When coffee begins to flow into the upper chamber, reduce heat to avoid sputtering and remove the pot from heat once extraction slows. Pour immediately into cups or use as a base for milk-based drinks. Allow the pot to cool before disassembling and cleaning.

Recommendations

Use freshly roasted, properly ground coffee for best extraction and adjust grind size and heat to control strength. Clean components regularly and avoid using abrasive cleaners to maintain the silver finish. Verify your stovetop compatibility and do not leave the moka pot unattended while heating.
