DVI splitter Renkforce 2-port Ultra HD 3840 x 2160, model 1429817

The Renkforce DVI splitter 2-port Ultra HD 3840 x 2160 duplicates a single DVI video source to two independent displays without scaling, preserving the original digital signal quality up to Ultra HD resolution. Its compact housing and plug-and-play design make it a practical option for situations where the same DVI output must be shown on two monitors or projectors simultaneously. The device supports lossless transmission and is intended for inline installation between a DVI source and two DVI displays.

Advantages

This DVI splitter provides mirrored output for two screens at resolutions up to 3840 x 2160, maintaining image clarity and color fidelity. It operates without requiring software drivers, allowing for straightforward plug-and-play use. The compact form factor and simple cabling reduce installation complexity, while the splitter’s design focuses on preserving the original timing and pixel data rather than performing scaling or conversion.

Suitable for

• Presentations in conference rooms and lecture halls
• Retail signage and point-of-sale displays where the same content is shown on multiple screens
• Multi-monitor setups where identical output is required on two displays
• Training environments and demonstration booths
• Home or office use when duplicating a DVI video source to two monitors

Key specifications

• Video interface: DVI digital signal (single-link/dual-link compatibility depends on connected devices)
• Maximum supported resolution: up to 3840 x 2160 (Ultra HD)
• Number of outputs: 2 mirrored DVI outputs
• Signal handling: no scaling, preserves original digital timing and pixel data
• Installation: inline, plug-and-play (no driver required)
• Physical: compact housing suitable for desktop or rack-adjacent placement

How to use

Connect the DVI output of your source device to the splitter input using a compatible DVI cable. Then connect each display to the splitter’s outputs with DVI cables. Power on the source and displays; the splitter mirrors the input signal to both outputs without additional configuration. Verify that both displays are set to accept the incoming DVI signal and that their supported resolutions match the source output for optimal image quality.

Recommendations

For best results, use high-quality shielded DVI cables and ensure that connected displays support the intended resolution. If displays show different EDID information, set the source resolution to a mode compatible with both screens. Place the splitter near the source or use appropriately rated cables to avoid signal degradation over long runs.
