How to use

Install the MB604SPO-B into a standard 5.25" external bay and secure it according to your chassis instructions. Insert each 2.5" HDD or SSD into the removable tray and slide the tray into the corresponding bay until it locks; trays include anti-vibration features and individual status LEDs. Mount a Slim 12.7mm or Ultra‑Slim 9.5mm optical drive into the adjustable optical bracket, secure the built-in screw, or use the included foam spacer for a 9.5mm drive. Connect SATA power and data cables with the locking latches to ensure stable connections. Configure the 40mm fan to high, low, or off depending on drive type and system cooling needs.

Recommendations

Use high fan speed for mechanical HDD arrays under heavy I/O to reduce operating temperatures; set the fan to low or off when using only SSDs in systems with sufficient chassis cooling.
