The ICY DOCK ToughArmor EX MB492SKL-B is a dual-bay 2.5" mobile rack designed for industrial small form factor systems that require secure, durable drive mounting. Constructed from heavy-duty metal, the unit fits two 2.5" drives into a single 3.5" front bay and supports 6Gbps SAS and SATA drives while remaining backwards compatible with 3Gbps devices. How to use

Install the MB492SKL-B into a single 3.5" front bay and insert up to two 2.5" SATA or SAS drives (7–9.5mm height) into the removable trays. Secure each tray using the thumb screw lock and, if required, engage the metal key lock to prevent unauthorized removal. Connect the system to a compatible SATA or SAS host (SAS host required for SAS drives). The removable trays enable hot-swap replacement to simplify maintenance and reduce system downtime.
