DRAKA A-DQ(ZN)B2Y 1x24 E9 Single-mode Outdoor Fiber Optic Cable, 24 Fibers, PE Sheath, 3.0 kN

When standard indoor fiber fails outdoors, the DRAKA A-DQ(ZN)B2Y 1x24 E9 steps in with a rugged polyethylene sheath and non-metallic rodent protection, ready for direct burial or duct runs. This 24-fiber single-mode OS2 cable delivers low attenuation and high tensile strength for reliable long-haul links.

Highlights

• 24 single-mode OS2 fibers (E9/125µm) for high-capacity data transmission
• Robust PE outer sheath with UV resistance for outdoor durability
• Non-metallic rodent protection using glass yarns
• High tensile strength of 3.0 kN for installation and operation
• Dry core water blocking with swelling yarns for moisture protection
• Wide operating temperature range from -20°C to +70°C
• Compliant with ISO/IEC 11801, EN 50173, and IEC 60794-1

In daily use

Ideal for backbone connections in campus networks, metropolitan area networks, and long-distance links between buildings. Its compact 8.5 mm outer diameter and flexible bending radius allow easy installation in ducts or direct burial. The dry core design eliminates messy gels, speeding up splicing and termination. With low attenuation of 0.35 dB/km at 1310 nm and 0.25 dB/km at 1550 nm, it supports high-speed protocols like 10G, 40G, and 100G Ethernet over long distances.
