DeLOCK 95271 Internal Network Card 2500 Mbit/s Mini PCI Express

The DeLOCK 95271 is an internal Mini PCI Express network card that adds one 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet interface to a compatible system. The LAN port can be routed to the slot bracket for external access. The card supports NBASE-T technology to deliver higher-than-gigabit speeds over standard copper cabling and automatically negotiates the best available transmission rate.

How to use

Install the DeLOCK 95271 into an available Mini PCIe slot on the host system and secure the module according to the system manufacturer’s instructions. Route the LAN connector to the slot bracket and attach the bracket to the chassis so the Ethernet port is accessible externally. Connect a compatible Ethernet cable to the port; the device will negotiate the optimal link speed (up to 2.5 Gbit/s) via NBASE-T. Install any required drivers provided by the system integrator or DELOCK if the operating system does not automatically recognize the card.

Recommendations

For best performance at 2.5 Gbit/s, use high-quality Cat5e or Cat6 copper cabling and ensure network switch or endpoint devices also support 2.5GBASE-T or NBASE-T. Verify driver compatibility with your operating system and keep firmware/drivers up to date.
