This Delock USB Type-C™ manual bidirectional switch lets you connect and switch between USB Type-C devices and hosts. It supports two operating modes: either one USB Type-C device (for example a monitor or external storage) can be shared between two computers, or two USB Type-C devices (for example a monitor and a USB-PD charger) can be connected to a single computer and selected as needed. The switch handles video up to 8K resolution, USB data rates up to 10 Gbps (USB 3.2 Gen 2) and Power Delivery up to 100 W. Thunderbolt™ devices and cables are not supported.

How to use

Connect the USB Type-C device(s) and computer(s) to the corresponding Type-C ports on the switch. Press the mechanical push-button to toggle the active connection between the two sides. Use short, high-quality USB Type-C cables to maintain signal integrity, especially for high-resolution video or high-power charging. Do not connect Thunderbolt™ devices or cables to the switch.

Recommendations

For reliable operation at high resolutions and full Power Delivery, use short (preferably certified) USB-C cables and avoid adapters or passive extension cables. Ensure connected devices support the required video, data and power profiles before switching.
