How to use

Mount the DGS-1520-52MP in a standard 19" rack (1U). Connect access switches, servers and Wi‑Fi 6 access points to the Gigabit and Multi‑Gigabit ports as required. Use the 10G Base‑T or SFP+ ports for uplinks or to form a stack (up to eight units) to increase aggregation bandwidth. Configure network settings locally via the web interface or centrally using D‑View 7 or D‑Link Network Assistant. For multi-site rollouts, prepare a Zero Touch Provisioning profile and apply it during installation.

Recommendations

For improved resiliency in non‑PoE deployments, connect up to four switches to a DPS‑520 redundant power supply using the management/RPS port and define RPS failover policy. Monitor device and power status remotely through the management interface to minimise downtime.
