Streamline capacity planning and power management with the CyberPower PDU81005 switched metered-by-outlet PDU. Ideal for data centers and network closets, this unit provides outlet-level power monitoring in real time, along with individual outlet control for remote reboots, automated load shedding, controlled power-cycling and more.

The PDU81005 supports inputs between 100-240V and includes eight (8) IEC-320 C13 outlets and a single IEC-320 C20 input power plug. Other features include a rack mount design (1U), built-in web interface (RJ-45 ethernet connection), interactive digital display and power event notifications. The CyberPower PDU81005 is protected by a three-year limited warranty.

How to use

Mount the PDU in a 1U rack space horizontally or vertically using the supplied brackets, or install under a counter or on a wall as required. Connect the IEC-320 C20 input to a compatible power source, then connect devices to the eight IEC-320 C13 outlets. Access the built-in web interface over the RJ-45 Ethernet port to configure network settings, enable security protocols, view per-outlet power metering and control outlets locally or remotely. Use the digital display for on-site readings of voltage, amperage, kilowatts and the unit IP address.

Recommendations

For best results, place the PDU where its cable can reach the power source without strain, use the cord retention tray to secure connections, configure SNMP or email/SMS alerts for event notifications, and apply firmware updates when available to maintain security and functionality.
