Streamline capacity planning and power management with the CyberPower PDU81004 switched metered-by-outlet PDU. Ideal for data centers and network closets, this unit provides outlet-level power monitoring in real time, along with individual outlet control for remote reboots, automated load shedding, controlled power-cycling and more.

The PDU81004 supports inputs between 100-240V and includes eight (8) IEC C13 outlets and a single IEC C14 input power plug. Other features include a rack mount design (1U), built-in web interface (RJ-45 ethernet connection), interactive digital display and power event notifications. The CyberPower PDU81004 is protected by a three-year limited warranty.

How to use

Mount the PDU81004 in a 1U rack position or install it vertically/horizontally according to available space. Connect the IEC C14 input to a suitable 100–240 V source using the attached 3.05 m cord. Access the built-in web interface via the RJ-45 Ethernet connection to configure network settings, view per-outlet meters, and set outlet control policies. Use the local controls or web interface to power cycle individual outlets, schedule on/off sequences, and receive event notifications.

Recommendations

Place the PDU in a well-ventilated rack location, ensure the input circuit is sized to accommodate connected loads, and configure event notifications (email/SMS/SNMP) for timely awareness of power events. Regularly check firmware updates to maintain security and functionality.
