How to use

Install the SecuFirm2™ mounting hardware for your socket following the supplied instructions, apply a thin, even layer of NT-H1 thermal compound to the CPU heatspreader, and mount the NH-D9L so that the 95×95 mm base is centered over the socket. Connect the NF-A9 PWM fan to the CPU fan header on the motherboard; use the included Y-cable if fitting a second fan. If lower noise is desired, attach the Low-Noise Adaptor to limit the fan’s maximum speed.

Recommendations

For optimal results in AM5 systems, use the included offset mounting bars to shift the cooler 7 mm towards the socket’s south side to improve contact above the CCD(s). Ensure case airflow follows the same parallel path as the cooler (front intake, rear exhaust) to take advantage of the NH-D9L’s tower-style parallel airflow design.
