EK-Quantum Torque Compression Ring 6-Pack HDC 12 - Nickel is a set of six CNC-machined brass compression rings with a nickel finish, designed specifically for use with EK-Quantum Torque HDC 12 series fittings. This product is not a standalone fitting and must be used together with an existing Torque HDC 12 fitting barb and the fitting's rubber gasket to provide secure tube retention.

Advantages

The compression ring compresses the fitting's rubber gasket to prevent solid tubing from being pulled out, improving retention and leak resistance. Grooves on the outer surface provide better grip for hand tightening. Cutouts in the ring follow EK-Quantum's signature design, allowing a separately sold colored aesthetic ring to remain visible when installed. How to use

Disassemble the Torque HDC 12 fitting to expose the barb and rubber gasket. Slide the compression ring over the rigid 12 mm tube and push the tube onto the fitting barb until seated against the gasket. Screw the compression ring onto the fitting until the ring compresses the gasket and secures the tube; use hand tightening aided by the outer grooves. Install the aesthetic colored ring (sold separately) onto the fitting before assembling the compression ring if desired. Verify proper seating and check for leaks before full operation.

Recommendations

Use only with EK-Quantum Torque HDC 12 fittings and 12 mm rigid tubing. Do not force incompatible fittings or tube sizes. Inspect gaskets and threads for damage before reusing components and perform a leak test after installation.
