How to use

Strip the coaxial cable carefully to the correct dimensions before assembly. Slide the connector onto the prepared cable end and screw the F connector onto the cable sheath until it is firmly seated. To extend a run, screw the male and female connectors into the coupling piece to join two F-equipped cables. Use a dedicated coaxial stripping tool and, if available, SCHWAIGER® aids for screwing on connectors to ensure correct fit and reliable contact.

Recommendations

For best results, use a coaxial stripping tool to expose the conductor and dielectric to the required lengths and avoid damaging the inner conductor. Check the connection for secure mechanical fit and low play; tighten by hand and, if necessary, with an appropriate screwdriver or wrench, taking care not to over-tighten and deform the connector.
