The SNDWAY SW-6310A is a digital coating thickness gauge that measures the thickness of paint or lacquer layers on both magnetic surfaces (iron, steel) and non-magnetic surfaces (aluminium, copper, brass). It is used for non-invasive paint-thickness measurement on car bodywork and for measuring non-magnetic coatings (paint, lacquer, glass, plastic, epoxy resin, filler, enamel and more) on steel, galvanised steel and aluminium, and can check a lacquer layer before polishing. It uses non-invasive magnetic measurement technology, is calibrated, and includes FE (iron) and NFE (aluminium) calibration plates for accuracy checks. Features: selectable units (1 mil = 25.4 um), data storage for up to 30 measurements retained after power-off, a clear 2-inch backlit display with low-battery indicator that rotates 180 degrees, single or continuous measurement, audible result signal, upper/lower limit warnings and auto power-off after 60 seconds.
