The Hama 00077100 37 mm circular polarising camera filter reduces reflections and increases colour saturation and contrast to deliver clearer, more detailed images. Built with high-quality lens glass and a precision rotary mount, this polariser removes non-metallic reflections from surfaces such as water, glass and plastic, and helps deepen skies and enhance colour separation. Multi-layer anti-reflective coatings and a nano lotus coating improve light transmission, resist scratches, repel water and dirt, and make the filter easy to clean. The slim, lightweight anodised metal mount minimises vignetting and protects the lens front.

Advantages

How to use

Attach the 37 mm polarising filter to the lens front by screwing the filter onto the lens thread. Rotate the outer ring to adjust the polarising effect while observing the viewfinder or live view; maximum suppression of reflections and strongest sky darkening typically occurs with a photographic angle of roughly 30–40° to the reflecting surface. When finished, remove the filter and store it in the supplied filter box. Clean the coated surfaces with a soft microfiber cloth and, if necessary, use suitable lens cleaning fluid sparingly.

Recommendations

Use the filter primarily for landscape and outdoor photography where non-metallic reflections and enhanced sky contrast are desired. Avoid using the polariser with very wide-angle lenses at extreme angles where uneven polarisation may be visible. Store the filter in its box when not in use to protect the coatings and maintain optical performance.
