How to use

Position the cage nut’s spring retainer around the threaded nut and align the cage with the square hole in the rack rail. Compress the cage slightly if needed and push it into the hole until the retaining tabs engage and hold the nut in place. Insert the appropriate rack screw through the equipment mounting hole and thread it into the captive nut until secure. For removal, back the screw out and use a small tool or finger pressure to disengage the retaining tabs and withdraw the cage nut from the rail.
