Bullet IP security camera Hanwha Wisenet QNO-6012R1 — 2.8 mm, 1920×1080, indoor/outdoor, ceiling/desk mount, black

Hanwha QNO-6012R1 is a bullet IP security camera designed for indoor and outdoor use. It delivers Full HD (1920 x 1080) video at up to 30 fps using H.265, H.264 or MJPEG compression, and includes a 2.8 mm fixed lens with a horizontal field of view of approximately 113.7° and a vertical field of view of approximately 61.5°. The camera supports low-light operation down to 0.03 lux in color and 0 lux in black-and-white with IR illumination, and provides up to 20 m of IR visibility. It is built to withstand outdoor conditions (IP66) and mechanical impact (IK10), supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) and 12 V DC power, and accepts microSD/SDHC/SDXC cards up to 128 GB for local storage.

Advantages

The camera offers Full HD resolution with efficient H.265 compression for reduced storage and bandwidth requirements, combined with multiple streaming options for flexible monitoring. Its low-light sensitivity and IR illumination enable night-time monitoring up to 20 meters, while motion, tampering and defocus detection provide basic event detection. Rugged ingress and impact protection ratings make it suitable for exposed installations, and PoE simplifies installation by carrying power and data over a single cable.

How to use

Mount the Hanwha QNO-6012R1 on a ceiling, wall or desk using appropriate fixtures, aiming the 2.8 mm lens to cover the desired scene. Connect the camera to a wired Ethernet network; if available, use PoE to supply power and network over a single cable, or connect a 12 V DC power source. Configure resolution, frame rate and codec options (H.265/H.264/MJPEG) in the camera interface or management software, set up motion/tampering/defocus detection rules as needed, and enable local recording to a microSD card or remote recording to a network video recorder or VMS.

Recommendations

Install the camera at a height and angle that minimize glare and avoid pointing directly at strong light sources. For optimal low-light performance, ensure the IR LEDs have a clear view of the monitored area and choose PoE installation to simplify wiring. Regularly check and format the microSD card if used for continuous local recording.
