The Braun TexStyle 5 SI 5006 BL is a 2600 W dry and steam iron with a SuperCeramic soleplate and ergonomic open handle, designed to deliver smooth gliding and effective wrinkle removal. It supports both dry and steam ironing and features FreeGlide 3D Technology and Smart iCare mode for fabric-safe temperatures. The iron includes a 0.3 L water tank, vertical steam function and a 2 m cord for flexible use.

Advantages

The SuperCeramic coating ensures gentle and easy ironing with reduced sticking. The triangular precision tip reaches collars, seams and other hard-to-reach areas for accurate wrinkle removal. Self-clean and anti-drip systems protect steam performance and prevent water stains. The larger water tank opening with an ergonomic lid simplifies refilling, while the dotted-texture open handle improves grip and comfort during use.

Suitable for

• Daily ironing of shirts, blouses and trousers
• Steam smoothing of curtains and home textiles (vertical steam)
• Delicate and mixed fabrics requiring controlled temperature (Smart iCare)

Recommendations

Use distilled or demineralised water if your tap water is hard, and empty the tank after use to minimise limescale. Store the iron upright on a heat-resistant surface and follow garment care labels for best results.
