The BlueOptics SFP3132BU3MK is a 3 m single-mode InfiniBand fibre optic patch cord with a duplex LC/UPC to SC/UPC connector configuration. It uses G.657.A1 fibre with a 9 µm core diameter, yellow LSZH jacket, and supports full-duplex transmission at 1310 nm and 1550 nm wavelengths. Designed for data centers and networking environments, this LC–SC cable provides low attenuation and is compatible with optical transceivers and patch panels.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable offers low attenuation (approximately 0.4 dB/km), high return loss and low insertion loss for reliable high-speed data transmission. The G.657.A1 single-mode fibre ensures improved bend performance compared with older single-mode types, while the LSZH (low-smoke zero-halogen) jacket reduces smoke and halogen release in case of fire. Connectors use zirconia ceramic ferrules for long-life mating cycles and are manufactured by recognised connector suppliers. Each cable is tested with interferometer and OTDR and shipped with a measurement protocol for insertion loss and return loss.
