BlueCore Laser Technology
Revolutionary BlueCore Laser Technology
Extending its full line of revolutionary BlueCore laser projectors, the world’s No.1 DLP brand BenQ presents LU960UST, especially designed for ultra short throw fixed lens installation and reserves installation flexibility to merge into limited space.

Superior Brightness
Zero-deviation alignment of BlueCore laser diodes boosts luminous flux into the light tunnel, improving light efficacy to 5,200 lumens.
Superior Performance
Dual synchronized BlueCore color wheels utilize an additive yellow segment, stimulating precise RGBY spectra for optimal chromatic performance.
Superior Durability
Comprising over two million micromirrors that reflect pure light through the color wheel, the DLP chip is hermetically sealed to resist heat for over 200,000 hours without degradation.

Excellent Installation Flexibility
Ultra Short Throw Design for Unobstructed Viewing Without Space Constraints
Producing larger-than-life images in tight spaces with a 0.25 ultra short throw ratio, LU960UST eliminates distracting shadows and glare for viewers to move freely in front of the screen while enjoying immersive viewing experiences in places with space limitation or retail application with a lot traffic.

Native Resolution Switch and Digital Lens Shift
LU960UST is built with the native resolution switch function so users can change the native resolution from WUXGA into 1080P. When the native resolution is set at 1080P, the vertical lens shift function will be enabled for users to perfectly align images in any challenging venue such as when lights or vents that are located at the ceiling mounting site. Lens shift can move projected images up and down by 5% of screen height.

Digital Shrink and Shift without Distortion
Digital image shrinking and shift lets installers shrink the image to 80% of the original size in 0.5% increments via OSD menu. The image can also be shifted, so installers do not have to reinstall or adjust the projector physically in case the image is not precisely aligned on the desired frame and space.

360° and Portrait Projection Accommodate Different Spaces
BlueCore laser technology guarantees reliable projection from any angle. Dynamic installation options such as 360° rotation and portrait applications, allows projection onto ceiling, walls, floors or angled signage.

Ensure Consistent Brightness Blending with Custom Light Mode
Custom Light Mode modulates light power output from 40% to 100% under a scale of 80 steps, optimizing the projected image in a variety of ambient lighting situations. It is especially useful for blending consistent brightness across multiple projections.

Wired Remote Control
Wired Remote Control offers projector installers and IT managers extra set-up convenience and ease of operation. The added wired control functionality makes the device a dependable choice for projector installation adjustment.

Remote Control Projector ID Setting for Independent Control
Installers and IT managers can assign a specific remote control ID to each projector, avoiding signal interference and unintentional changes when installing multiple projectors in a venue.

3D Sync In /3D Sync out
Connect up to 3 projectors and project 3D content together by a single PC.

HDBaseT for Uncompressed Transmission Up to 100m and Control
Groundbreaking HDBaseT connectivity combines video, audio, RS-232 and LAN signal control signals from multiple sources including: PCs, laptops, document cameras, Blu-ray and DVDs onto a single RJ-45 cable. This ensures seamless transmissions up to 100 meters.

Superior Image Quality
Lag-Busting Response with Fast Mode
Based on expertise gained from experience with near-zero latency displays used in gaming, LU960UST employs Fast mode functions to provide latency as low as 16.67ms. LU960UST can serve the fast-moving dynamic or interactive scenes such as in immersive cycling simulation and amusement park theaters very well.

WUXGA Resolution for Enhanced Detail and Expanded Content
With an impressive WUXGA (1920 x 1200) native resolution that far exceeds Full HD 1080p, BenQ LU960UST BlueCore laser projector offers greater details and stunning image clarity when projecting high resolution images.

Dual Color Wheels Produce 92% Rec.709 Color Coverage for Optimal Color Performance
LU960UST’s powerful BlueCore laser projection utilizes a dual color wheel system to produce unparalleled color performance that achieves a 92% Rec.709 color coverage. By increasing color ratios and the purity of RGBY color, LU960UST dramatically enhances color saturation to ensure superior presentation quality.

High Brightness Vivid Clarity in Bright Ambient Environments
LU960UST’s 5200lm high brightness produces wondrous displays in bright, compact exhibition spaces with superb image quality.

Laser-Powered Ultra-High Contrast
LU960UST laser projector creates strikingly clear images with stratospherically high 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio for true deep blacks, vivid rich colors and fine subtle details. LU960UST also features spontaneous response, requiring no wait to turn on or resume from blanking in true black for flexible performance capability.

HDMI 2.0 for Supreme Image Quality
LU960UST come with HDMI 2.0 ports that users can now effortlessly project content with much less friction and enjoy greater brightness and contrast range than SDR.

Gamma Selection
Select Gamma for your preference and optimizing image quality between input source and picture brightness. Besides, LU960UST also provides advanced BenQ and DICOM Gamma curve to satisfy your various needs.

Enduring Reliability
24/7 Operation
BenQ laser light source supports continuous 24/7 operation and is suitable for public display applications in museums and exhibitions. Users can choose from three different light source modes to optimize energy consumption and delivers up to 70,000 hours under Dimming Mode.

Superior Dustproofing for Severe Conditions with IP5X Certification
BenQ BlueCore laser projectors are designed with sealed laser modules and enclosed light engines to protect the DMD chip, color wheel sensor, laser bank, and other optical components. This lock-and-key design hermetically seals the engine from dust to prolong projector lifespan.

Highly Integrated Network Control and Management System Compatibility

Centralized Control with BenQ Software
BenQ centralized control software is a management tool for computers that enables remote and centralized management of multiple digital projectors by IT administrators/ technicians via a local network. The management capabilities include the ability to remotely monitor, control, and configure projectors individually or as groups.
