ATEN CL3108NX rack console 47 cm (18.5 inch) 1366 x 768 pixels Metal, Plastic Black 1U

The ATEN CL3108 is a 1U rack-mountable console that integrates an 18.5" LED-backlit TFT-LCD (1366 x 768), a keyboard and a touchpad in a short-depth sliding housing. Designed for efficient rack management in limited spaces, the unit supports USB and PS/2 keyboard and mouse interfaces and provides a VGA video port. Built-in LED illumination improves visibility in low-light environments, and the console is powered via an external AC adapter with a wide input voltage range.

Advantages

The CL3108 saves rack space by combining monitor, keyboard and touchpad in a single 1U sliding console with a short-depth design suitable for narrow racks. It supports control of up to 8 computers directly and can be cascaded to manage up to 128 systems. Operational features include Broadcast mode for issuing the same command to multiple computers and Auto scan mode for continuous monitoring. Security is provided by two-level password protection and there is a hot-pluggable USB mouse port that supports HID devices.

Suitable for

• Server rooms and data centers with limited rack depth
• Control rooms and monitoring stations
• Network cabinets for IT management and maintenance
• Environments requiring local console access to multiple PCs/servers

Use the built-in LED illumination when working in low-light conditions.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, ensure proper ventilation in the rack, connect devices using the recommended USB/PS‑2 and VGA cables, configure two-level passwords to restrict access, and cascade additional compatible KVM switches only when necessary to expand control beyond eight computers.
