How to use

Install the motherboard in a compatible ATX case and mount an LGA 1851 CPU following the processor and motherboard manuals. Populate DDR5 DIMMs into the four memory slots according to the recommended slot population in the manual to enable optimal dual-channel operation and, if required, enable AEMP III or DIMM Fit in BIOS for memory tuning. Install storage devices into available M.2 and SATA connectors; for a PCIe 5.0 M.2 drive, use the designated slot. Connect front-panel, USB, LAN and power cables, then use the UEFI BIOS or ASUS software (AI Advisor, Fan Xpert 4, Armoury Crate) to configure firmware settings, fan profiles, networking and RGB lighting. Use BIOS FlashBack™ for firmware updates when CPU or memory are not installed.

Recommendations

For stable high-frequency DDR5 operation and peak CPU performance, update the motherboard BIOS to the latest version before enabling advanced memory profiles or NPU Boost. Ensure adequate case airflow and use Fan Xpert 4 or AI Cooling II to configure fan curves. When installing PCIe 5.0 devices or high-speed M.2 drives, verify thermal management (heatsinks or airflow) to avoid throttling.
