Before you believe a bad review about us

We would like to respond openly to every negative review about us. Many are posted anonymously, so we cannot reach those customers directly. This open letter is our reply, and we would be grateful if you took a moment to read it.

But here is what a one-star review will never tell you:

  • We import from 70+ official distributors. That is why you pay far less than local retail — and why delivery takes longer. We publish the date before you pay, never after.
  • You can pay only when your goods land in Johannesburg. Pay on Arrival, no full payment up front. Ask yourself what scammer offers that.
  • Nobody has ever lost money with us. You get the product, or you get a refund. There is no third option, and there never has been.
  • We are part of the ITwork group — ten years trading in Europe, nine stores, thousands of positive reviews.
  • Johannesburg and Cape Town stores open this year — real shelves, real stock, walk in and buy the same day.

We are not satisfied with our review scores, and we are not going to fix them by hiding anything. We are fixing them by being faster, clearer and easier to reach than any reason to complain.

Read the full letter — photos and video of real shipments, and a straight answer to every accusation.

Problem with an order right now? Write to [email protected], [email protected] or [email protected] — answered the same business day. The letter also lists our group and store owners' contacts.

BE24EQSK Video Conferencing Monitor
Make Communication More Effective
ASUS BE24EQSK is a 23.8-inch Full HD monitor that features an integrated Full HD (2MP) webcam, microphone array and stereo speakers for video conferencing and live-streaming. With Full HD resolution and an IPS panel for wide-angle viewing, it delivers incredibly sharp imagery and stunning video playback. Its ergonomic design with tilt, swivel, pivot and height adjustments provides a comfortable viewing experience, and compatibility with a standard 100 x 100mm VESA mount allows flexible wall mounting or installation on a display arm.
Lifelike imagery and 178° viewing angles
The ASUS BE24EQSK offers Full HD resolution to deliver stunning clarity. The IPS panel provides 178° viewing angles, both horizontally and vertically, so you can enjoy its beautiful visuals from almost any direction.
Easy video streaming with integrated Full HD webcam
With a built-in 2MP Full HD webcam BE24EQSK is ready-made for web video-conferencing and live-streaming. The webcam's adjustable eye is easily rotated through 315°, and also offers 10° tilt in either direction — so it can capture the view you need. Built-in stereo speakers provide loud and clear audio through the monitor, and the webcam even has a sliding shutter to ensure total privacy when not in use.
Array mic that's perfect for online learning and conferencing
BE24EQSK's beam-forming microphone array separates speech from background noise, so it's perfect for use with popular calling platforms. Intelligent echo-cancellation technology further enhances speech clarity. It is perfect to do online streaming, webinar or e-learning via voice interaction.
Loaded with the latest connectivity
BE24EQSK features a host of connectivity options that include HDMI, DisplayPort, D-sub, so hooks up easily to a wide variety of PCs, laptops, consoles, media boxes. It also has pass-through ports for the line-in and headphone jack inputs, putting the audio connections conveniently right in front of you.

The screen can also be rotated vertically through 90° for use in Portrait mode, which is a great benefit when working with long documents, writing code or browsing lengthy websites.
Space-saving design for a clutter-free desktop
BE24EQSK is VESA-mountable, so it's easy to hang it on a wall or post. It also includes the ASUS-designed MKT02 mounting kit(optional) which allows you to attach a mini PC to the rear of the display to reduce unnecessary clutter in your workspace.
ASUS blue light filter
Exclusive ASUS bluelight filter protects you from harmful blue light. It offers four blue-light filter settings that are easily accessed through the onscreen display menu via the hotkey.
ASUS Flicker-free technology

It is designed to minimize eyestrain, headaches and eye fatigue when you spend long, countless hours in front of the display.
Exclusive ASUS features for added versatility
Splendid™ Video Intelligence Technology
BE24EQSK features ASUS Splendid™ technology that optimizes videos and images by enhancing color brightness, contrast and sharpness. It features a wide variety of modes — including Reading, Darkroom, Scenery, Standard, Theater, sRGB, Game and Night View.

How to use

Position the monitor on a stable surface or attach it to a VESA-compatible arm or wall mount. Connect your PC, laptop or media device using HDMI, DisplayPort or D-sub. Use the webcam by connecting the monitor’s USB (if applicable) or following the device’s connection instructions and rotate or tilt the adjustable camera to frame yourself; close the sliding shutter when privacy is required. Adjust height, tilt, swivel or pivot to obtain a comfortable viewing angle; rotate the screen 90° for Portrait mode when working with long documents. Select the desired input source and configure audio settings to use the built-in speakers or headphones via the front pass-through jack.

Recommendations

For optimal video calls, place the monitor so the webcam is at eye level and use the microphone array’s echo-cancellation feature by keeping the room environment quiet. Enable ASUS Blue Light Filter and Flicker‑Free modes during extended use to reduce eye strain. If space is limited, install the optional mini‑PC mounting kit to attach a compact PC behind the display and keep cables organized.

6/10

“The trouble is, in order to keep the price as low as it has, Asus has had to make some aggressive compromises. The BE24EQK is certainly the cheapest 1080p monitor with a built-in webcam we’ve ever seen, but it’s far from the best.”

Pros
  • Built-in webcam and mic
  • Tempting price
  • Passable picture quality
Cons
  • Basic stand
  • Webcam is mediocre
