Expanding a wired security system to include legacy detectors often means replacing them with costly wireless units or dealing with unreliable third-party converters. The Ajax MultiTransmitter solves this by integrating up to 18 wired zones into any Ajax Hub, preserving your existing investment while adding the intelligence and convenience of the Ajax ecosystem. This module reads signals from NO, NC, EOL, 2EOL, and 3EOL detectors, transmits them over the encrypted Jeweller radio protocol, and supports remote configuration and firmware updates.

Tips

When connecting multiple wired detectors, ensure the total current draw does not exceed 1A. For installations requiring backup power, connect a 12V sealed lead-acid battery (up to 7 Ah) to the dedicated terminals. Place the MultiTransmitter within radio range of the hub, ideally in a central location, and test signal strength using the Ajax app before final mounting.
